Created without reactive ingredients, monomers and photoinitiators, the quick dry nail system is safe for all skin types (including sensitive skin). Painted on like a traditional varnish, this innovative polish sets from natural light; no UV lamp required. It dries hard within five minutes and, with its gel-like finish, promises up to 14 days of chip-free polish lasting ten times better than a natural polish. It’s also vegan and cruelty-free. The Jocelyn Petroni method is the result of decades of experience and research. It repairs damage from the root of the nail, strengthens the matrix/heart of the nail, binds the layers of the nail plate, and details and moisturises the cuticles for optimal nail health.
THE EXPERIENCE
Phase 1. You enter a beautiful private treatment room flooded with natural light and decorated with fresh floral arrangements. Your treatment begins with a one-on-one consultation, where your nail technician evaluates your nail health and discusses your specific requirements, as well as helping to ascertain the most flattering nail shape for you based on your toes, feet and nail plate.
Phase 2. The feet are soaked in warm rose soap water to cleanse the surface of the nail and soften the cuticles and skin. The nails are filed to your desired shape. Using a cuticle pusher, the cuticles are gently pushed back while excess edges are carefully trimmed. The feet and heels are thoroughly scrubbed via three different exfoliation methods: a pedi paddle removes skin build-up, a custom-made drill smoothes the heels, toes and soles of the feet, and, finally, a granular scrub polishes the skin all the way up to the knee. The nails are continuously filed and shaped throughout the pedicure to best compliment and enhance your natural beauty.
Phase 3. Nails are expertly painted using in-house techniques and the quick dry nail system that delivers richly pigmented shades that dry within five minutes without the reliance on any UV lamps.
Phase 4. The treatment is finished with the application of a replenishing foot cream and cuticle oil via a foot and calf massage using European, Shiatsu and Reiki massage techniques.

How early should I prep my nails for a big event?
We recommend commencing a course of Jocelyn Petroni nail treatments six months prior to your big event to ensure your expert nail technician can work to create the most healthy, beautiful nails possible. Prime nail health is achieved after six months of Jocelyn Petroni treatments, as this is how long it takes for the existing nail to completely grow out and for the new, strengthened nail to grow from base to tip.
How can I extend the health of my nails at home?
Your nail technician will provide you with a personalised nail health program. A great place to start is applying a cuticle oil overnight for intensive results and prevention of splitting, breaking and hardening.
