This week I try … A Radiance Facial

The lowdown I am at one of my favourite beauty haunts, the Jocelyn Petroni beauty salon in Woollahra, Sydney, trying the Radiance facial. This treatment uses advanced microdermabrasion to remove dead skin cells and improve texture, tone and radiance. It also optimises the infusion of brightening serums such as vitamin A into freshly exfoliated skin. The facial massage, for which the salon is famous, draws on European, reiki and shiatsu massage techniques and the therapist also focuses on the neck, décolletage and scalp. This hands-on treatment stimulates lymphatic drainage and improves circulation. Next comes a brightening, vitamin-infused mask which also stimulates cell turnover.Pain factor As usual, a transporting experience.Downtime Sixty minutes
