Designed to hold space and provide self-care for new mums, the Mother's Moment invites mothers and their newborn into the salon to share an intimate facial experience. Offering connection between mother and child, the Mother's Moment revitalises tired skin and soothes the soul by using loving massage techniques and a combination of calming, gentle ingredients with breast-feeding in mind. An opportunity to honour the skin you're in and the incredible journey it has been through, the Mother's Moment lifts lacklustre complexions while nourishing and hydrating for a healthy, postpartum glow. Healing Reiki energy is infused throughout this decadent treatment, washing calm over body and mind.
THE EXPERIENCE
Phase 1. You and your newborn enter an ethereal treatment room with six metre high vaulted ceilings and soft lighting. With baby resting on your skin or next to you, the complexion is treated to a loving double cleanse using lymphatic drainage massage techniques to not only clarify the complexion but instantly uplift it.
Phase 2. Nestled snugly beneath the linen covers of the warm treatment bed, a gentle exfoliating solution is applied to clean skin, delicately dissolving dry skin cells for a glowing radiance without the use of harsh agents or steam.
Phase 3. Your purified skin is nourished and nurtured with a massage and hydration soak mask. You are treated to our signature Heart Chakra Massage across the neck and décolletage while your baby sleeps on your chest or alongside the treatment bed in a pram or carrier.. Infused with Reiki healing energy and bringing together ancient European and Shiatsu techniques, this rhythmic massage performed at your desired pressure promotes rest and relaxation while also oxygenating the surface of the skin for a clarified visage. The front and back of the body are massaged simultaneously in a unique technique that Jocelyn has developed from her travels around the world. Heavily inspired by Hawaiian massage, attention is directed to the area around the heart to open and release this energy channel, along with getting into knots and tension in the neck and shoulders. An intimate massage treatment, it also incorporates lymphatic drainage to clear excess toxins. Truly holistic in its approach, tension is dissolved and the skin is left luminous.
Phase 4. The skin is infused with active ingredients and vitamins, which are expertly delivered into target skin cell layers via in-clinic devices such as the Sono Boost sonophoresis machine. We curate serums and ampules with small molecular structures to penetrate the deepest layers of the skin.
Phase 5. The facial is finished with the application of a rich and nourishing occlusive moisturiser to seal in the benefits of the active ingredients that have been used, while also strengthening and supporting the skin's natural barrier function.

Providing a chance to reconnect with your skin and nourish it in a calming, safe space, the Mother's Moment Facial is suitable for any mother and her child under six months old. It is suitable for all skin types and uses products appropriate for those who are breastfeeding.
Where will my baby sleep?
Your baby is welcome to sleep on your chest or alongside the treatment bed in a pram or carrier. The treatment can be paused as many times as necessary to allow you to care for your baby.
What if my baby cries or needs a feed during the treatment?
We have allocated an extra 15 minutes to your treatment so you can pause, feed and nappy change as needed.
