It might take months to nab an appointment at either of Jocelyn Petroni’s Sydney salons but it’s well worth the wait. Quite simply, her treatments are an indulgent affair. They’re also approach to our treatments, an approach that deepens our connection with customers and enriches our clients’ salon experience.” So while Jocelyn is regularly featured in high-end Australian fashion, health and beauty magazines, her attitude towards her business has never changed. An advocate of staff training and development, her brand, her staff, her salons and her self-development are always being worked on. “We practice Reiki, Shiatsu pressure points and lymphatic drainage during each treatment and have staff training every three weeks. Our team embraces the words of HH Dalai Lama, who said ‘giving to others is giving to yourself’. Our aesthetic is high-end but our approach is friendly and calm.”

Testament to Jocelyn’s success, are her ambassadorships with luxury Australian beauty brands such as Mecca Cosmetica, Ultraceuticals and Sodashi. In February 2015 Jocelyn was appointed by CHANEL Australia as their first official manicurist. She also counts celebrities such as Miranda Kerr and Megan Gale as regular clients.

“As a business owner and personally, I constantly strive for perfection,” she explains. It seems this strength has in turn provided Petroni with her greatest entrepreneurial challenge – ‘finding the perfect balance hands-on treatments’ and stepping back to grow her business. “In recent years, I have brought on new staff and trained them to abide by the meticulous attention to detail that my clients love and expect. This in turn, has enabled me to focus on other areas of my business, to be more creative, innovative and productive – ultimately allowing me to build a stronger business.”effective, thorough and highly consultative. “My team and I work hard to create an experience that differs to most beauty salons,” Petroni calmly explains. “Most notably we use a Buddhist/meditative”.
